Buddy was an excellent traveler on the way home yesterday. A few fussy spells, but I think he was actually better this trip compared with the trip up. Props to my hubby for keeping the house "showable." Laundry is going, and the bags are unpacked, and thanks to a giftcard, a Starbucks run was made.
Now I am stuck at home waiting. Waiting? Yes, for our home health care nurse. It is a long story, but we never heard any more about Buddy needing another Synagis shot, so we thought RSV season was done. Wrong. Messages on our machine yesterday told us he gets one more. So now I am waiting for our unorganized home health care nurse to show up sometime after lunch. That's a pretty large span of time. I called the home health care office to complain about the lack of communication and disorganization, but the person I talked to didn't seem to think it was that big of a deal. I will be calling again to talk to someone else tomorrow. I do wonder what happened to "the customer is always right."?
Buddy is being reacquainted with his jumparoo after a week a part. Loving the sunshine and beautiful weather. I hope the nurse comes early and doesn't stay her typcial hour-plus so Buddy and I can go for a walk. (Well, I will be walking, he will be riding.)
